These notices summarise platform rules for customers, businesses, subscriptions, reviews, privacy, and moderation.
POPIA and privacy
Connect-ZA processes personal information to create accounts, verify businesses, display approved listings, manage quotes, messages, subscriptions, support, fraud checks, and legal compliance. Verification documents are used for approval and are not shown publicly.

Legal requirements
Users must comply with applicable South African law, including POPIA Act 4 of 2013, PAIA Act 2 of 2000 where applicable, the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
Businesses must provide accurate company, service, pricing, contact, address, and verification details.
Terms and conditions
Connect-ZA helps customers discover and contact businesses. The platform does not guarantee workmanship, availability, pricing, payments made outside the platform, or outcomes of direct customer-business agreements.
No fraudulent listings, spam, misleading pricing, fake reviews, illegal services, or misuse of customer data is allowed.
Subscription terms
Standard subscriptions cost R150 per month and keep approved businesses listed normally. PRIME subscriptions cost R250 per month and add boosted visibility, a PRIME badge, and highlighted placement.
Subscription payment does not override admin approval, verification, moderation, or suspension rights.
Reviews policy
Reviews must be honest, based on real customer experiences, and may be moderated when abusive, false, spammy, or misleading.
Reported accounts may be reviewed, limited, suspended, or removed by admin.
